about

The Daytime Freqeuncy is the solo project of Matthew Sigley from The Lovetones, Video Video, Polak, The Steinbecks, The Earthmen and Drop City.

The second in a series of albums of unreleased songs - this time from my first year living in London in 1999. A year that involved exploring abandoned buildings (where the cover shot was taken), riding the streets at night on bikes, hanging out in Abney Park Cemetery and watching the eclipse, frequenting mod clubs and partying in our basement flat on Manor Road in Stoke Newington. All things that inspired the writing and recording of the songs in this collection.
